The manufacturing process flow of photovoltaic glass

The manufacturing of photovoltaic glass is a process industry, mainly divided into two stages: raw sheet production and deep processing.
1. Original film production:
A. Ingredients: Mix raw materials such as quartz sand, soda ash, dolomite, and feldspar according to A specific formula. The core is to use low-iron quartz sand.
B. Melting: The batch material is heated in a melting furnace at a temperature as high as 1600℃ to form a uniform and bubble-free glass liquid.
C. Forming: The molten glass flows into the tin bath and is spread out evenly on the surface of the molten tin through the float process, forming a glass band with uniform thickness and a smooth surface.
D. Annealing: The glass strip enters the annealing furnace and undergoes a precisely controlled cooling process to eliminate internal stress and prevent self-explosion in the future.
2. Deep processing
A. Coating: One or more layers of nano-optical films made of materials such as silica are coated on the surface of the original ultra-clear glass sheet to achieve an anti-reflection effect. This is a key step to enhance the light transmittance.
B. Tempering: Heat the glass to a temperature close to its softening point and then cool it rapidly and evenly. The surface cools and solidifies rapidly, while the interior cools more slowly, thus creating compressive stress on the glass surface and tensile stress inside, which greatly enhances the strength of the glass.
C. Cutting, Inspection and Packaging: According to customer requirements, large pieces of glass are cut into specific sizes. After strict quality inspection, they are packaged and delivered from the factory.
