1.According to the structure:
A. Single-sided photovoltaic glass: Only the front side of the module uses coated anti-reflection glass.
B. Double-sided photovoltaic : Photovoltaic glass is used on both the front and back of the module. The back is usually made of transparent or frosted glass. This structure enables the module to absorb reflected and scattered light from the back, achieving a power generation gain of 5% to 30%, and it also features higher weather resistance, PID resistance, zero water vapor permeability, and a longer lifespan.
2. According to the function:
A. Ordinary coated glass: It is currently the absolute mainstream in the market.
B. Stained glass (for BIPV) : Colored glass is used to meet architectural aesthetic requirements and is commonly applied in building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV).
C. Glazed glass (for BIPV) : Ceramic glaze is printed on the back of the glass to form various patterns and colors.
D. Patterned glass/frosted glass: Mainly used on the back of double-sided components, it serves to diffuse reflection and enhance aesthetics.
