Photovoltaic Module Products Common Bad Analysis And Quality Control(2)

May 22, 2024

5, Defective tin slag
Reason:
A. Residue of tin slag during welding.
B. There is tin residue stuck on the bottom plate.
C. There is much tin residue on the tip of the soldering iron.
D. Perform welding work on the component when changing the plate.

Preventive measures:
a. Clean up the tin pile in time during welding operation to prevent the tin slag from falling.
b. Clean the bottom plate in time to prevent tin residue.
c. Do not replace welded batteries on stacked components.
d. Check whether there is tin residue on the battery in time after series welding.
e. Tin slag caused by two grid short circuit, hot spots affect the life of the component, must be replaced abnormal battery.

6. Foreign bodies
Reason:
A. The foreign matter sticks to the battery when the welding operator is working.
B. Weld dirt on the bottom plate.
C. The turnover box for welding is dirty.
D. Laminated glass bottom plate, EVA good sticky dirt.
E. Hair, dirt, etc. fall onto the battery when stacking personnel work.
F. Secondary pollution during the first bad replacement.
G. Backplane wire fell into the assembly contaminated.

Preventive measures:
a. Welding and layering personnel should dress according to regulations and wrap their hair in a clean cap.
b. It is prohibited to use the battery by hand.
c. Welding personnel do not paste adhesive tape on the battery.
d. Pay attention to check the glass bottom plate and EVA pollution when the stacking personnel are working.
e. Regular cleaning of welding table, welding bottom plate, welding turnover box and stacked table.
f. Regularly clean the welding room and stacked area with wet dust to keep the ground free of foreign bodies.
g. EL workbench should be cleaned regularly to prevent foreign body pollution during secondary inspection of bad battery.
h. Personnel clean clothes should be cleaned regularly.

7, Defective spacing
Reason:
A. The poor spacing between pieces is caused by serial welding.
B. The poor series spacing is caused by the stacking operation.
C. The abnormal size of the distance edge is caused by the stacking operation.
D. Improper use of welding templates.

Preventive measures:
a. The welding personnel should pay attention to the battery placement on the base plate template when serial welding.
b. When placing string battery pieces, place them according to the positioning size of the template, measure the distance with a ruler in time, and then tape the position of the battery pieces.
c. EVA is abnormal, causing the battery to shift during lamination.
d. Use the welding end positioning template correctly. Batteries from different manufacturers use positioning templates of different specifications.
e. Daily management of positioning templates from different manufacturers to prevent mixing.

8. Crack
Reason:
A. Single series welding gestures caused by excessive.
B. When the interconnecting strip is welded, there are spot stacking, bead welding and virtual welding, resulting in layer fracturing sheet.
C. Stacking and laminating personnel touch and press the batteries when lifting the stacked batteries.
D. The quality of the battery itself, caused by hidden cracks.
E. High pressure during the pressing stage of the laminator.
F. EVA is uneven (bulge phenomenon is serious).
G. The laminate personnel cover the laminate cloth gesture is incorrect.

Preventive measures:
a. The stacking and laminating personnel do not touch the battery on the side when lifting the stacked battery.
b. Stacking and laminating personnel should avoid touching the cross bar on the platform car when lifting the stacked battery pieces.
c. Welding personnel to prevent surfacing welding, bead welding, virtual welding abnormal phenomenon.
d. Carefully analyze each picture during the initial test to prevent hidden cracks from flowing into the laminate group.
