After production is completed, the laminator should be thoroughly cleaned and maintained
1. Cleaning work
A. This is the most important daily maintenance item! It is necessary to wait until the temperature of the heating plate drops to a safe range before thoroughly cleaning the upper chamber glass, the lower chamber heating plate and the silica gel plate with a soft cloth or plastic scraper.
B. Remove all spilled residues such as EVA, PET, and POE to prevent them from carbonizing and damaging the surface of the equipment and affecting the appearance of the components.
2. Maintenance of silica gel plate
After cleaning, a thin layer of talcum powder can be evenly applied to the surface of the silica gel plate to reduce its adhesion to EVA and extend its service life.
3. Maintenance of vacuum pumps
For production lines with high-intensity operation, it is recommended to let the vacuum pump run in an atmospheric environment for a few minutes after shutdown every day to expel any solvent vapor that may have mixed into the pump and prevent oil emulsification.
4. Power failure of the equipment
After confirming that all maintenance work has been completed, turn off the main power supply and gas source.
