In recent years, with the establishment of factories overseas by domestic module companies, the demand for photovoltaic glass has gradually increased overseas. In addition to the export in the form of photovoltaic glass sheets, photovoltaic glass is also exported in the form of photovoltaic modules. In 2020, Chinese photovoltaic module export volume was 78.8GW, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. Exports amounted to $16.99 billion, accounting for 86% of total exports of photovoltaic products. The export areas of Chinese photovoltaic products are Europe, Vietnam, Japan, Brazil, and other international markets.
In addition, conventional double-glass modules and double-sided double-glass modules began to be widely used. Double glass modules have anti-PID, anti-snail grain, anti-crack, anti-sand, anti-salt spray, anti-humid heat, and other high reliability has become the industry consensus. In regard to the areas with stringent natural conditions, double glass components with reliability advantages have almost become the standard.
