Equipment Connection Of Automatic Production Line

There are two kinds of connection methods of equipment in automatic line: rigid connection and flexible connection.

Rigid link

In the rigid connection automatic line, there is no storage device between the processes, and the processing and conveying process of the workpiece has a strict rhythm. When a piece of equipment fails and stops, it will cause the entire line to stop. Therefore, the working reliability of various equipment in the rigid connection automatic line is high.

Flexible connection

In the flexible connection automatic line, there is a storage device between each process (or section), and the rhythm of each process does not need to be strictly consistent. When a certain piece of equipment is temporarily suspended, the storage device can be used for a certain period of time. Adjustment and balance can be used. Therefore, it will not affect the normal operation of other devices. Flexible connections are often used for comprehensive automatic lines, assembly automatic lines and long combined machine tool automatic lines.
