The photovoltaic-thermal integrated module (PVT) is a device that integrates photovoltaic power generation and thermal collection functions, capable of generating both electricity and heat simultaneously. After absorbing light energy, the photovoltaic module converts it into electricity and supplies it to the load or integrates it into the power grid through inverters, controllers, etc. At the same time, the heat exchange medium flows through the back channel of the photovoltaic module to remove the waste heat generated during power generation, cooling the module and improving the power generation efficiency. The heat exchange medium can also be used to supply domestic hot water or heating.
The basic structure of the photovoltaic-thermal integrated module (PVT) is as follows:
1. Glass cover plate: used for light transmission, impact prevention, dust prevention and component protection.
2. Photovoltaic layer: the core power generation component, using single/multi-crystalline silicon, thin-film cells, etc.
3. Heat exchange channel layer: the back plate is equipped with channels for cooling the module and collecting heat.
4. Insulation layer: reduces heat loss and improves thermal efficiency.
5. Back plate: sealed, moisture-proof, and insulated.
6. Auxiliary components: inverters, pumps/fans, hot water storage tanks, controllers, etc.
