Advantages‌:
‌1. High photoelectric conversion efficiency‌: The perovskite film of the light-absorbing layer of the perovskite cell has a wider band gap than crystalline silicon, can absorb short-wave visible light, and has a higher photoelectric conversion efficiency. ‌2. Low raw material requirements‌: Perovskite cells have low requirements for the purity of raw materials. A purity of about 90% can produce a cell with an efficiency of more than 20%, while crystalline silicon cells require 99.9999% high-purity materials. ‌

Simple manufacturing process‌: The manufacturing process of perovskite cells is simple and the temperature is low, about 100°C, while crystalline silicon cells require a high temperature of more than 600°C. ‌4. Contains toxic substances: Perovskite batteries contain toxic substances such as lead, which to a certain extent limits their wide application. ‌
‌5. The large-area preparation process is immature: The large-area preparation process of perovskite batteries is not yet mature, and commercial application still needs time.
