National Photovoltaic And Energy Storage Demonstration Experiment Platform

Recently, the National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Demonstration Experiment Platform (Daqing Base) released the demonstration experiment data in the first half of the year and the third-phase design plan technology online exchange meeting was held as scheduled. Xu Ziming, Director of Energy Efficiency and Energy Storage Division, Department of Energy Conservation and Technology Equipment, National Energy Administration, Zhang Yifa, Director of Science and Technology and Innovation Department of State Power Investment Corporation, Yao Xiaoyan, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of State Power Investment Corporation’s Upper Yellow River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Province Energy Gao Wei, second-level researcher of the New Energy Division of the Bureau, Xue Zhixun, Deputy Director of Daqing Development and Reform Commission, Zhang Yiguo, Chief Planner and Party Committee Member of China Hydropower Design and Planning Institute, Wang Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of China Photovoltaic Industry Association, Photovoltaic Specialist of China Renewable Energy Society Wang Yibo, secretary-general of the committee, Liu Wei, secretary-general of Zhongguancun Energy Storage Technology Alliance, as well as experts from photovoltaic and energy storage industries, and equipment manufacturers participated in the exchange. The meeting was presided over by Pang Xiulan, Deputy General Manager of the State Power Investment Photovoltaic (Energy Storage) Industry Innovation Center, and Xie Xiaoping, an expert from the State Power Investment Group Expert Committee and Director of the Platform Academic Committee.

The National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Demonstration Experiment Platform (Daqing Base) is the first national photovoltaic energy storage demonstration experiment platform approved by the National Energy Administration. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, there are about 640 kinds of empirical experimental schemes planned and arranged, with a converted scale of about 1.05 million kilowatts. In 2021, the first-phase project of 200,000 kilowatts has been completed and put into operation, and 161 kinds of empirical experimental schemes have been arranged, which will be implemented year by year from 2022 to 2025. 150,000 kilowatts, 150,000 kilowatts, 300,000 kilowatts, and 250,000 kilowatts.

This is the first time that the complete half-year data of Daqing base is officially released to the public after the release of the first quarter data in June. The conference from the meteorological data, components, inverter, support, photovoltaic system, energy storage products, energy storage system seven dimensions of the empirical experimental data sharing, for the global high latitude, alpine region photovoltaic power station system design operation, equipment selection provides detailed for reference data, also for the construction of the new power system in China.

The meeting also introduced the design plan of the third phase of the National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Demonstration Experiment Platform (Daqing Base). In order to share the demonstration experiment data and design plan, Daqing Development and Reform Commission, State Power Investment Corporation, General Institute of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Planning and Design, China Photovoltaic Industry associations, Zhongguancun Energy Storage Alliance, Renewable Energy Society and other relevant leaders and experts, as well as equipment manufacturers, respectively put forward relevant suggestions and opinions to jointly promote the healthy development and implementation of the Daqing Base.
