Changes in The Ranking Of PV Module Manufacturers

In the first half of the year,Jinko Solar's module shipments ranked first in the world, jumping three places from last year, while LONGi Green Energy dropped to third place.

According to the semi-annual reports disclosed by the world's top six photovoltaic module manufacturers, some changes have occurred.

In terms of module shipments last year, the world's top six module manufacturers are LONGi Green Energy (601012.SH), Trina Solar (688599.SH), JA Solar (002459.SZ), and JinkoSolar (688223. SH), Canadian Solar (CSIQ.US) and Risen Energy (300118.SZ).

In the first half of this year, the top four rankings have undergone major changes. Jinko Solar's module shipment volume in the first half of the year was 18.21GW, accounting for more than 80% of last year's total, temporarily ranking first in the world, and jumping three places from last year's ranking. Trina Solar ranked second with a slight advantage of 0.03GW, and its ranking remained unchanged. Its half-year shipments accounted for more than 70% of last year's total. LONGi Green Energy shipped 18.02GW in the first half of the year, dropping from the first place last year to the third place. The shipment volume in the first half of the year was less than half of last year. The company's shipment target this year is the first among the six major module manufacturers, at 50-60GW, and the completion rate in the first half of the year is less than 40%. In addition, JA Solar shipped 15.67GW, ranking down one place to fourth; Canadian Solar and Risen Energy ranked fifth and sixth, respectively, with a large gap between module shipments and the top four module manufacturers.
