Photovoltaic and solar thermal integrated modules (PVT) are devices that integrate the functions of photovoltaic power generation and solar thermal heat collection, capable of simultaneously generating electrical and thermal energy.
1. Core Principles
A. Power generation: After absorbing light energy, photovoltaic modules convert it into electrical energy and supply it to the load or connect it to the power grid through inverters, controllers and other devices.
B. Heat collection: The heat exchange medium flows through the flow channel on the back of the photovoltaic module, taking away the waste heat generated during power generation, cooling the module while enhancing the power generation efficiency. The heat exchange medium can also be used to supply domestic hot water or for heating.
2. Infrastructure
A. Glass cover plate: Used for light transmission, impact resistance, dust prevention and protection of components.
B. Photovoltaic layer: The core power generation component, which adopts monocrystalline/polycrystalline silicon, thin-film cells, etc.
C. Heat exchange channel layer: The backplate is equipped with built-in channels for cooling the components and collecting heat.
D. Insulation layer: Reduces heat loss and enhances thermal efficiency.
E. Back plate: Sealed, moisture-proof and insulating.
F. Auxiliary components: inverter, water pump/fan, hot water storage tank, controller, etc.
