Disadvantages of centralized photovoltaic power stations
1. It needs to rely on long-distance transmission lines to transmit electricity to the grid. At the same time, it is also a large source of interference to the power grid. Problems such as transmission line loss, voltage drop, and reactive power compensation will be prominent.
2. Large-capacity photovoltaic power stations are realized by combining multiple conversion devices. The coordinated work of these devices needs to be managed in the same way. The technology in this area is not yet mature.
3. To ensure the safety of the power grid, large-capacity centralized photovoltaic access requires new functions such as LVRT, which often conflicts with islands.
